Rathwood is a leading Home & Garden Destination Shopping Centre outside Tullow in County Carlow. Key to its success has been an initiative to focus on local Irish companies and suppliers. This focus has seen the business attract over 250,000 visitors during 2011 which supports growth and development in the local economy and community. Director of the family run operation, James Keogh, told All About Business that "Rathwood offers people a unique day out where we offer customers a unique shopping experience, coupled with seasonal events like our Santa Train and of course products and food of the highest quality." Rathwood certainly embodies both unique selling and value propositions for consumers. So we went along to get a taste of the Rathwood Experience for ourselves.
