Tim Rooney owner of Surf Seeds gained the highest ever investment on Dragons' Den back in 2009. Tim tells us how he started out, where he got the idea for his business and what he has done since gaining an investment. Tim has undertaken a Masters in Research and Development which is reducing his margin of error and over all helping to grow the business. Tim advises if you are going into an area of business which has been done before, such as opening a coffee shop or a pub and restaurant, you will need a mentor or someone with experience.
