An SME with a difference

The Centre for Creative Practices – established in 2009, is a new cultural venue in the city centre of Dublin. A Multicultural and multidisciplinary approach is what we stand for.

The Centre for Creative Practices aims to develop, sustain, promote and present new arts and creative practices in Dublin and Ireland through the organisation of artistic events.

The Centre for Creative Practices aims to:

1. Support the innovative, interdisciplinary and intercultural approach in artistic expression

2. Be a platform for creative exchange and development for individual artists, organisations and audiences

3. Contribute to the deepening the understanding of the role of arts in the modern society as a system of reference for personal and collective values and an example of diversity and tolerance

4. Create new artistic works and new diverse audiences

5. Promote new works through organising exhibitions and publications

6. Support arts practitioners in discussions with industry professionals, event organisers and funding bodies

7. Create an international exchange network between the Irish and international arts practitioners

8. Operate a Hub facility for Arts Practitioners offering working and event space to enhance the collaboration between various arts organisations and forms, and the production of new, interdisciplinary art forms and initiatives

9. Provide shared resources from the various Arts Organisations involving technical assistance to equipment and space through its Incubation Centre
