The purpose of a brand is to make you the natural choice of your customer.

Having worked with brands of all shapes and sizes in Europe, North America and Asia, and with a soft spot for the all-important but much- ignored customer, Gerard steps out from behind the shop-counter to offer a practical hands-on heads-up on the part that a brand plays in influencing customer choice.

Gerard is currently completing a book on brand-building, I'll Buy That, which is due for publication in early 2011.
