Social Entrepreneurs Ireland directly supports high potential social entrepreneurs to enable them to maximise their impact.
At the core of their activities is their Social Impact Programme which provides financial investment and direct support to early stage social entrepreneurs.
Eight exceptional organisations have been announced as finalists of the 2011 Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awards, each vying for a part of the €650,000 prize fund. The prize fund, supported by DCC plc, has increased by over a third this year in response to the increasing strength of social entrepreneurship in Ireland and the growing need for the services social entrepreneurs provide.
